There are even fragrance products to make your home smell like you are actually burning firewood.

It should not be necessary to get the approval from your landlord before putting a fireplace gas modern heater in your home. This is because these fireplaces are basically like space heaters and don't involve any construction to install. However you may want to check and make sure if your lease is complicated or your landlord is picky. One thing is certain, if you do get a ventless fireplace for your rental home or apartment you are in for a cozy winter.
