Floral arrangements are also great for your mantel. There are so many different ways of arranging flowers. You can go modern with a single bloom in a silver vase, or romantic with a full, abundant arrangement of flowers and foliage. If you want to keep your mantel bare, consider placing a mirror or work of art above it. A bare mantel can be dressed up with a tapestry runner that slightly hangs over the sides. Of course you can also put your decor items on top of a tapestry runner as well. When it comes to decorating your mantel area, the sky's the limit.
